چکیده
Abstract Biodegradable hydrogels have great potential in agriculture. In this study, hydrogel prototypes of biodegradable slow-release fertilizers were formulated by a Schiff base reaction between dialdehyde carboxymethyl cellulose and gelatin. The release behavior iron cations from these cellulose-based with different degrees substitution was studied. analyses the relation correlation length cross-linked degree substitution, i.e., amount negatively charged positions hydrogels, allowed to determine influence structure electrostatic interaction on cation kinetics, which successfully described Peleg’s Model. lowest reveals slowest due smallest length. These results demonstrate that is dominant for divalent cations. Moreover, also shows DACMC-Gelatin as matrix fertilizers.

متن کاملFormulation and release of alaptide from cellulose-based hydrogels
The modern drug alaptide, synthetic dipeptide, shows regenerative effects and effects on the epitelisation process. A commercial product consisting of 1% alaptide hydrophilic cream is authorised for use in veterinary practice. This study focuses on the formulation of alaptide into semi-synthetic polymer-based hydrogels. The aim of the present study is to prepare hydrogels and to evaluate the li...
متن کاملElectric Properties of Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Carboxymethyl cellulose [C6H7O(OH)3x(OCH2COOH)x]n is a derivative of the regenerated cellulose [C6H10O5]n with hydroxy-acetic acid (hydroxy ethanoic acid) CH2(OH)COOH or sodium monochloroacetate ClCH2COONa. The CMC backbone consist of D-glucose residues linked by -1,4-linkage. The molecular mass of one glucose unit in CMC chain is mCMC = 146.14 + 75.04x, where x 3 is the degree of substitu...
متن کاملCross-linked β-cyclodextrin and carboxymethyl cellulose hydrogels for controlled drug delivery of acyclovir
To explore the potential role of polymers in the development of drug-delivery systems, this study investigated the use of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), acrylic acid (AA) and N' N'-methylenebis-acrylamide (MBA) in the synthesis of hydrogels for controlled drug delivery of acyclovir (ACV). Different proportions of β-CD, CMC, AA and MBA were blended with each other to fabri...
متن کاملHydrogels Prepared from Cross-Linked Nanofibrillated Cellulose
Nanocomposite hydrogels were developed by cross-linking nanofibrillated cellulose with poly(methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic acid) and polyethylene glycol. The cross-linked hydrogels showed enhanced water absorption and gel content with the addition of nanocellulose. In addition, the thermal stability, mechanical strength, and modulus increased with an increase in the amount of nanocellulose in hyd...
